There are many reasons I love working out with Allison, but something that really makes her stand out among other trainers is that she is constantly on the lookout for new and interesting exercise modalities. As she obtains new certifications, she brings what she learns into her workouts for a holistic approach to fitness that is never boring. I find her enthusiasm and desire to improve herself strong motivation to improve my own fitness and find new ways to challenge myself physically and mentally.
I took a series of group intro to TRX classes, over a period of several months, with Allison. I just loved it, and loved her teaching/coaching method. She is very careful to guide you in maintaining the right form and preventing injuries. She is supportive, kind and has a great sense of humor too.
I am very happy that I started working with Allison! She is certainly knowledgeable in her field, but more than that, I can tell she really wants me to succeed. We have been working towards goals that are important to me and it is clear that she is just as excited as I am when we make progress! Even during a pandemic, she has been very flexible and accessible with her scheduling- meeting both in person and online. She also has seemingly endless patience for all of my questions and for all of those reasons, I am very excited to continue working with her!
I can’t say enough about Allison as a trainer and personal coach. In addition to her unlimited energy and positive attitude, Allison has the ability to spot what her clients need to work on most – and to develop exercise programs to match. When I took part in her group classes at the Y, she could see that I needed to pay more attention to balance, posture, and mobility, and she created a program of exercises targeted to those issues. She has a deep understanding of body and muscle mechanics, and I am confident that her programs and exercises are the right ones for me. It’s clear as well that Allison is always adding to her knowledge base of exercise physiology. I look forward to my Monday afternoon TRX classes the most!

2 years before my 70th birthday, and 13 years after being diagnosed with the auto-immune disease rheumatoid arthritis, it was clear that my mobility, physical agency and engagement with the world were at increasing risk. I had lost muscle strength, grip strength, range of motion, and energy in general. I knew I needed to work with someone who would be flexible, creative and willing to meet me where I was. I still can't believe how fortunate I was to be taken on by Allison. Her ability to see what is needed, from large muscle work to the smallest shifting of foot placement, from balance to alignment, has enabled me to develop renewed strength, balance, and confidence in my body, even as the realities of aging and illness continue. I'm enormously grateful for Allison's skilled guidance and encouragement, and have no doubt that working with her has changed the trajectory of my health and my life. She is an extraordinary ally and teacher.
I was very skeptical of on line personal training at first but Allison's coaching is fantastic. Her instructions are clear and well paced and she does a great job encouraging people even through virtual sessions. I always find myself appreciating the class, it takes a great coach to teach effectively on line, she is one of the best.
From being a coach and a trainer myself.. sometimes I just want a little guidance and someone to tell me what to do. That’s when I started to train with Allison. I had just signed up for my first spartan race - and was struggling to even run 2 miles. That first spartan race was a spartan sprint and I’ve been hooked ever since. I’m about to compete in my fourth race this upcoming weekend. Allison gave me the guidance and support I needed to not only complete the spartan but to enjoy it. Plus I got to hone in on my mobility, some kettlebell skills and new TRX moves I had never done before! I 10/10 would recommend Allison to any coach, student, or anything just looking to improve their general fitness levels and show up to their everyday lives! 💪🏻💪🏻
